A land of CONFUSION was mounted - apologies were heard from Sami every so often due to such a soft nature, but THIS? Nothing was needed from him ; a light that was always burning dared to step closer to an abyssal hole that Finn grew comfortable in. It was a HOME for his demon to recoup in before sinking its fangs on it’s latest victim. BALOR was enjoying this torment more than he should, “You shouldn’t be.” His grip on Sami’s shirt was still FIRM, a signal of not wanting to part from him. There was a LONGING expression that remained solid, sheer desire to pursue what he had felt for SO LONG although there was a small hesitation in the process. COULD HE REALLY DROWN SOMETHING SO PURE with his malevolence?

YOU WOULD ONLY HURT HIM IN THE END, FINN. Oh, Balor was having a BALL with the mental torture. Pulling the string of Finn’s core was ENTERTAINMENT. “Because every day that passes, I’m the one that’s pullin’ you closer and leadin’ you to disappointment.” How VAGUE ; the feelings were MORE than reciprocated but the HESITATION…goddamnit, it was a BOTHER, like a cancer that wouldn’t disappear no matter how many times he tried to KILL IT. “Because you won’t SURVIVE.” Finn couldn’t dictate the way Sami would feel, but it was OBVIOUS – Sami was the purest form of innocence he’s ever met. To drown him…to just SLAUGHTER the goodness in his soul…oh how that would KILL any remnants of control that Finn was barely hanging onto.

THE WORDS HIT HIM LIKE A TRUCK —-  and it’s not because he feels guilty.   in fact just as the pain pulls back, sadness and frustration slowly crash against the shore of his consciousness.   How could he say think that way?   When Sami was the fuck-up.   When he was always so oblivious, so reckless        a miserable failure who always disappointed and let everybody down.   He had tried to convince himself he was more than what he thought, but as days waned to weeks and  weeks to months and he still hadn’t accomplished most of the things he wanted   —-  he developed a hatred for himself.

“Don’t say that. You’re worth more than you think. I know this sounds crazy, but I…want to give us a shot. There’s good in your heart. I know there is. I felt it in the way you kissed me, and I know you want this just as much as I do.”     It really did sound crazy, but Sami was faithful that the light can overcome the dark, and even though faith didn’t always pull through for him, he was going to give it his ALL this time. Unlike Finn, Sami didn’t allow his demons to eat away at him   he just kept fighting and smiling no matter what, and he wanted to teach Finn that. He wanted to show Finn he was worth it, he was a good person, and he has the strength to not let his bad side overshadow him as a whole.     “C’mon… we gotta try.  I hate seeing you suffer. You’re better than this.   I love you, Finn.   Let me take you into the light.”     He allowed his words to linger before he gave Finn a brief and gentle kiss on the lips to convince him further.
