      At the question, he scratched the back of his head out of habit when his wrist brushed his right ear. He winced and dropped his hand back to his side.      “I’m alright. Banged up, but still breathing.”      Sami knew how weak he sounded, seeking treatment for bruises and complaining when he has definitely endured far worse. However, his back region was really hurting now and too much movement stung, which made it difficult for him to find a comfortable position to sleep. If being able to sleep comfortably meant having to sacrifice a little of his pride…      “How about you?”
