A quiet sigh of relief escaped the announcer as he let go of the nervous energy he’d been holding since he’d first considered asking the ginger man to be his valentine. A bright smile tilted at the announcer’s lips as brown eyes lit up with pure joy and anticipation at the realization that Sami had said yes.  Really? Great!  He’d been so sure Sami would’ve said no. Not because of any ill intent. Merely because, well, they didn’t really know each other all that well. Not past work at least. But he wanted to know the man better. And with the approaching holiday, well, he’d figured there was no better chance to try. And now he was so happy he had. Elated he’d decided to take the plunge, bite the bullet, and ask.  Um, is there anywhere specifically you’d like to go? Or anything you’d like to do?

RARE TO FIND SOMEONE JUST AS EXCITED AS HE IS. Rare to see a smile just as wide, just as brilliant, and yet, Sami knows Tom has always encompassed this. The excited grin upon his face fills him with joy. A laugh, rich with warmth, bubbles in his throat and chest, and flashes him a toothy grin. he shrugs.      “Uh…we can go to my place and watch some cartoons?”      He suggested, rather lamely, tossing a hand behind his head to scratch his neck, dulled fingernails grazing along the thin hairs at the back of his scalp. He couldn’t think of anything else to do other than that      he didn’t want to go to a restaurant because he was afraid that Tom might end up suffering from food poisoning, and he thought anything overly romantic like slow dancing would’ve been too straight forward.      “I can order some food too, in case your hungry.”
